The current pandemic has caused many health, economic and social challenges, especially for refugees.  The international community must work to change this reality and protect refugee rights.

How do we ensure women’s rights are protected throughout all stages of displacement?

Women face many challenges across the globe, such as gender-based violence, accessing education and jobs and more. These challenges are exacerbated for women refugees. Protecting the rights and wellbeing of refugee women is key to building peaceful societies.

How can we improve the social inclusion of different types of refugees?

Including refugees in the societies they flee to is the most effective way of helping them rebuild their lives. However, refugees may face obstacles in participating with their host community due to differences in culture, religion, or ethnicity.
